Laura Ashley has been a leading designer and retailer of home furnishings since 1979. (They started much earlier than that, but were primarily a clothing store at their beginning.) There are three types of mattresses available from Laura Ashley—Arran, Cosgrove, and Lauder. The Arran mattress is a classic open coil mattress, with spring insulators and reflex foam. It has a micro-quilted panel and border ticking in a Thorn design. The Cosgrove mattress is a 1475 pocket sprung mattress, with reflex foam and top layers of wool and silk. It is hand tufted with woolen tufts for added softness. Two rows of traditional hand stitching for extra support ticking are in the Chrysanthemum design. The Lauder mattress is a 1000 sprung pocket mattress with reflex foam, a fluted border, and is also hand tufted with wool. Its ticking is in the Melbury design.

Laura Ashley wardrobes come in a variety of sizes and styles. One is in a very contemporary chrome, however the majority are a simple white or ivory. Some are 2-door, while others have one door and a series of drawers. There is one wardrobe that has mirrored doors. All wardrobes are currently on sale.

The chests of drawers are primarily shorter in height and come in a variety of wood grains, hand-painted finishes, or even chrome. Most of the pieces (except for the chrome, of course!) have a rather antique look. There are also several dressing tables available through Laura Ashley. These too are white or ivory.
